A summery Saturday full of encounters, moments of enjoyment and great interest in genuine gluten-free diversity
On June 14, 2025, the Celiac Disease Conference at Technopark Zurich opened its doors to over 700 attendees – and we at AN OTHER gluten-free were right there in the thick of it. The weather was perfect, and the atmosphere was as radiant as the sun over Zurich.
Our participation in this year's Celiac Disease Conference was not only a highlight for us, but also a milestone: Within three hours , all of our dumplings were completely sold out . The "Jiaozi with Vegetables" variety—thanks to its vibrant green color from spinach—was completely sold out in just a short time. Made without artificial colors, but with love and care—just like all our products.
Waiting is worth it – sometimes even over 20 meters
It was moving to see how many people were willing to line up for our gluten-free dumplings. At times, the line stretched over 20 meters – yet the atmosphere was cheerful and full of anticipation. The fact that our dumplings were so well received was not only a joy, but also a true vote of confidence from the community.
“Finally, my daughter can eat dumplings again”
Even better than the sale was the feedback. We received so much personal feedback—some of which touched us deeply.
One mother explained: "Until now, we all showed solidarity by avoiding dumplings because my daughter couldn't eat them due to celiac disease. Now we know: gluten-free is possible—and we can finally enjoy it together again."
Another visitor said, "I used to love momos, but I couldn't eat them for years. Now I've found them again at your place."
Such statements encourage us in what we do – namely, to explore new culinary paths without compromising on quality, taste, or ingredients.
Dress rehearsal successful – online sales can begin
The conference was also a kind of dress rehearsal for us: We'll finally be launching online sales of our gluten-free dumplings in July. The rush and the positive response are giving us momentum and showing that demand is there—and how!
We sincerely thank everyone who visited us on this special day, supported us, and shared their stories with us. The Celiac Conference 2025 was more than just an event for us—it was a strong demonstration of solidarity within the gluten-free community.
