A seal that inspires confidence – ĀN OTHER glutenfree is officially certified

October 10, 2025Daniela Friedrich

9 September 2025 was not just another day for us in Erlenbach.

Early in the morning there was a tense calm in our kitchen – the dough and filling for the day’s product were being prepared, the work surfaces were gleaming, and Amy went through every single step of our production processes one more time.

Because on this day the focus was on Audit for certification by IG Zöliakie der Deutschen Schweiz was carried out – by the Labor Veritas in Zurich under the direction of Auditor Lukas Hess.

Everything that defines our craft was examined: from raw materials and workflows to our organisation, our self-monitoring concept and the structural conditions on site.

What was checked

The audit followed the official regulations of “Mission sicher glutenfrei” (“Mission safely gluten-free”), which are based on Swiss food law, the guidelines of Good Practice in the Hospitality Industry (GVG) and the hygiene regulations of the FDHA.

The following points, among others, were checked for certification:

  • Raw materials: Only products that are declared gluten-free or carry the crossed-grain symbol may be used in production.

  • Production: Every work step must be designed so that no cross-contamination with gluten can occur. Clothing, equipment, surfaces and transport containers are checked regularly.

  • Personal hygiene: Handwashing, separate work clothing and clear procedures are part of everyday life.

  • Packaging & transport: Every product must be clearly identifiable and safely packaged – from the first to the last step.

  • Labelling: Only after successful inspection may the official “Mission sicher glutenfrei” seal be used – valid for one year at a time.

This monitoring ensures that everything leaving our kitchen truly delivers what we promise: 100% gluten-free.

Why this means so much to us

For us, this certification was not a mere formality, but an emotional moment.

Because it confirms what has driven us from the very beginning: people with coeliac disease or gluten intolerance should be able to enjoy food without worry – safely, honestly and with a love of flavour.

As of today, our products officially carry the seal of the IG Celiac Disease of German-Speaking Switzerland as well as recognition from Guide Celiac.

Both stand for strict quality checks, transparency and genuine responsibility.

What this means for you
